So I guess that composing the opening lines of blog posts in my head doesn't count....

I haven't posted in about a month due to busyness, too much going on that I cannot explain, and not feeling like writing. The writing bug still hasn't really struck, but I did want to jump on and say hello in response to the kind inquiry in the previous comments. So, "hi!" and here's a short list of things I and/or we have done during the blogging break:

--Christmased in Atlanta with Joe's family
--rang in a New Year in bed asleep (that's the second year in a row that we've slept through New Year's Eve)
--spent just under $500! on 2 new car seats. (yes, being in 2 wrecks makes Britax look pretty appealing)
--dieted and lost the rest of my baby weight--yay!
--passed the stomach flu around the entire family (with Will enjoying two bouts even!)
--lost even more weight from said stomach flu (so yes, Mama, I know I'm now too skinny) :)
--started teaching a monthly circle on Feminine Appeal by Carolyn Mahaney
--flew with Charlie to Va Beach for the weekend to go to Joe's sister's baby shower
--watched Seasons 1-3 of The Office; yes, it is as funny as everyone says, but no one told me that it is also pretty raunchy
--started being a bit more intentional in what I do with the boys on a daily basis. Is that nonspecific enough for you? :) When you're a mama of 4 five and under, you hesitate to use words like "schedule" or "plan".....let's just say that we have a general routine with much room for flexibility, error, sin, mess, etc. The routine is a guide and not a law and therefore any deviation from routine should be met with peace and patience. Ha, ha...ask me how I'm doing on that one sometime.
